Ihave an Oral-B Pro 1500. It works well and has a timer, 2 brushing modes, and a pressure indicator. It's about $70 on Amazon. My dentist & hygienist have said that's really all you need, all the other things are just extra. If you like the other options, then it's up to you, but I personally wouldn't spend $200 on a toothbrush.

I highly recommend waiting for the Series IO to go on sale, which is frequently does. I own a Series IO and it’s a significant upgrade over my Genius. Youcan pay a bunch extra for the one with the heated seats, sunroof and High-end stereo system, or you can pay much less for the basic model. They both have the exact same motor and will perform equally well. I’m a hygienist and I wouldn’t pay for the top of the line electric brush. I do like that the Genius has the red light that lights Im a dentist myself and have both high end models of Phillips Sonicare and oral b. Personally I prefer the Sonicare over oral b. But it's just personal preference. The important thing is that you're using it twice a day and brushing properly. Make sure you're flossing daily as well. Please do see a dentist once a year though.
